Babe Bike Wash featuring Lucy Pinder

A glamour model corporate viral for a well known motorbike insurance co.

Following coverage of Bennetts events; bike meets, track training days, Bennetts Babes call to action and introduction video spots. My working partner and I were asked to create a glossy promo spot featuring Lucy Pinder, a known glamour talent.
The Client knew they wanted a bike wash scene and that was all we had as a starting point.
After hunting around for a location that could accommodate water effects, be light controllable and have somewhere for the girls to keep warm, we found an aircraft hanger that was suitable. That we could use the planes as background props was a lucky bonus. We passed up on car wash sites and empty warehouses.
After watching a lot of soapy videos I set to work on story boarding a scene which got the sign off on first viewing.

On the shoot day we had a lighting gaffer who did a great job needing only a few words of direction and already had a clear vision from the storyboards of what we needed to capture. In addition to a 7D dslr that I shot on all at 50fps for smooth slow motion we hired in a pole cam and operator, normally used for sports coverage, to get the long sweeping shots and making the final video seem that much bigger.
